The Toyota Sienna is Toyota's minivan for the North American market, sold in the US continuously since the 1998 model year. It competes with the Honda Odyssey, Chrysler Pacifica, and Kia Carnival, offering three rows of seating for seven or eight passengers, dual sliding doors, and family-focused practicality. Over four generations it has grown from a compact, Camry-based van into a full-size minivan, and since the 2021 model year it has been sold exclusively as a hybrid.

The 2021 model: Redesigned on Toyota's TNGA-K platform, the fourth-generation Sienna dropped the V6 entirely and became hybrid-only: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid system with 245 hp combined, offered with front-wheel drive or electronic all-wheel drive. Fuel economy improved dramatically, with EPA ratings around 36 mpg combined for FWD models. Seating for seven or eight continues, and this generation remains current through the 2026 model year.
